Our mission is to  provide meaningful financial assistance in the form of scholarships for underprivileged students who are academically eligible and desire to further their education and seek a career in technology.

About the IT Next Generation Foundation   
Curtis Timmons established the foundation in June 2013.  He was inspired to
support student’s dream of obtaining a college degree while serving as Chief
Technology Officer, in a large urban school district.  While many students dream
of having a successful career, the IT Next Generation Foundation recognizes that
many will face obstacles in pursue of their education.  Education has and
continues to be the greatest predictor of America’s future and a necessary tool
for equality.  A quality education for underpriviledged students can provide an
opportunity for better equality and social mobility.

Our vision is to be a “World Class” foundation that provides scholarships to underserved students globally, who seeks a career in technology. 

About the Scholarship Program  
The IT Next Generation Foundation scholarship program is unique in that it
provides financial assistance for underprivileged students seeking a college degree and a career in technology. Many  advocates of education envision that a failure to provide quality education in  areas like Science, Technology, English, and Mathematics will add to the  country’s future deficit of engineers, scientists, architects, and researchers among others.  Therefore, the program plays an important role for underprivileged students, their families, communities, and the country as a whole.
